This half term, see how Salford’s skyline has changed over the last 10 years
Over the last 10 years or so, the development of Salford Quays has evolved into the skyline and dramatically altered the appearance of the neighbourhood. Welcoming BBC and ITV into the area at MediaCityUK in 2006 has fuelled the regeneration of Salford and assisted its evolution into a community neighbourhood, populated by young professionals, families and businesses alike.
To see just how fantastic Salford has become and how dramatically the skyline has grown, we have compiled photographs of some of our most popular developments and their surrounding areas, courtesy of Google Maps, in a ‘before and after’ edition of Salford. The growth of the area has been brilliantly captured by the Google Maps images, showing the improvement of the local area across a span of 10 years.
